At this Jervis Bay accommodation you can turn back time, escape the rush and relax at Callala Beach House, a fabulous renovated 1960's beach house.

Callala Beach House is self contained accommodation located at Callala Beach south of Nowra and is just a few minutes level stroll to the white sands of Jervis Bay. This comfy 2 bedroom 1960's beach house opens at the back onto the beautiful white gums of Jervis Bay National Park, NSW. 

The self contained cottage is Pet Friendly accommodation and features polished floors and tiles, reverse cycle air-conditioning, gas heating in the lounge room, colourful decor and artworks.

Callala beach house accommodation offers great facilities. There is a lovely main bedroom with extremely comfortable king bed and ensuite bathroom with Japanese soaker tub. The spacious second bedroom has a queen be.

Outside is an undercover entertaining area, gas BBQ and external shower (refreshingly hot & cold) for washing after your beach swim. Bed Linen is provided for your convenience and guests should only need to bring their own towels.

Callala Beach House offers quality accommodation without the high price tag! Ideal for one or two couples or a family, it could well become your favourite holiday accommodation spot.

About Jervis Bay - Our Region Callala

Callala Beach is located on the northern side of beautiful Jervis Bay and is accessed from the Culburra Beach Road. Callala Beach is a Holiday location for people of all ages, offering  rock, ocean and beach fishing, windsurfing, board riding, kayaking, scuba diving, swimming, snorkelling,  bushwalks, rock climbing and sites of Aboriginal significance. (Land on the southern point of the bay is owned by the Wreck Bay Aboriginal Community.) This coastal resort of natural beauty is located on the Beecroft Peninsular. It has sheltered beaches in a Marine National park.

The sheltered white sandy beaches of north Callala provide safe swimming and excellent fishing. They are ideal for people who prefer still water swimming or families with young children.  As mentioned the region is an ideal fishery and at Callala an excellent boat ramp is available.

The Jervis Bay Cruising Yacht Club is based at Callala Bay and The Sportsman's Club at Callala Beach has bowling greens, a scenic nine-hole golf course and an excellent Chinese Restaurant. Visitors are welcome.

Jervis Bay (pronounced jär´vis) is located just 2.5 hours south from Sydney and 3 hours east from Canberra, being a sheltered inlet of the Pacific Ocean, the bay measures about 15 km from north to south and about 10 km across.

The bay is famous for its clean crystal clear waters, the underwater topography of arches, caves and rock stacks, and a marine population that includes cuttlefish, sea dragons, wrasses, gropers and sharks make this one of the finest dive sites in the State. Whale, seal and dolphin watching, picnic facilities, scenic cruises and walking tracks are all abundantly available in the surrounding Jervis Bay National Park. Many pods of dolphin have made Jervis Bay their home and you will have opportunities to sight these graceful locals.

Located at the southern end of Jervis Bay is Booderee National Park and Booderee Botanic Gardens just waiting for you to explore.

Areas of particular interest around the bay include scenic Scottish Rocks and Bristol Point, Hole in the Wall and the well known Green Patch Beach.

"Peter and I just wanted to say thank you for your wonderful home. We had a fantastic time--the beach, the well-stocked kitchen, the air conditioning, the peace and quiet and the comfortable bed! As an extra bonus, we avoided the terribly hot weather in Sydney.

The train service suited us very well, and Avis in Nowra should continue to be recommended to other visitors. Thanks also for the welcoming wine and food. Our daughter is getting married, in the Hunter Valley next December, so we will be returning to Sydney, and will certainly remember your beach home as a vacation spot to re-visit."
